Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release: She Said Yes Stamp Set

Today I made a wedding card using the SSS She Said Yes stamp set from their You Are My Favorite release. There are a set of dies for this stamp, but I didn't use them. You can also buy it as a bundle as shown here:

Since there are a lot of smaller images in the She Said Yes stamp set, I decided to use my "random stamping" technique (I've claimed it as my own since i use it so much and everyone else has moved on haha). I stamped all of the images in the set except the large cake using Versafine Ink on white cardstock. I just the little diamonds and hearts between items where I left too much space. It's like a puzzle which is why I'm so into this method - and that it allows for lots of coloring! I colored all of the images in with Copics and added drop shadows with an N2 Copic. I used a silver and gold Uniball on a lot of the items. Don't hold me accountable for not knowing what color a wine bottle is or wine is. I realized after I colored this that red wine would be red not purple. I have never had a drink in my life, thus my knowledge on this subject is lacking haha!

I cut a piece of Gold Matte Cardstock to fit on the front of an A2 sized card. I then die-cut the colored card front using the new A2 Rectangle Dies and attached it to the gold matte. I tied some gold thread to the top of the card by wrapping it around a few times. I stamped a sentiment on a gold rectangle using the same rectangle dies and gold matte cardstock. I finally decided to pull out my old Stazon black ink and it worked wonderfully! I need it for stamping on vellum too and I had forgotten I had some - so much easier than waiting for ink to dry that never seems to! I attached this with foam tape to the top. I added some gold pearls around it. 

I'm now prepared to give someone an engagement or wedding card! I love this She Said Yes stamp set although we just had a she said no in my family, so it doesn't really cover that. The You Are My Favorite release is full of so many diverse products and I am slowly working my way through it! Thanks for the visit! suzy
