Today is the second day of the 2 day blog hop celebrating the SSS You Are My Favorite release. I have a card to share with you using a few of the new products including the Pristine Lilac Embossing Folder and Cutting Die, the Dotted Diamond Embossing Folder, the Petal Tipped Label Wafer Dies, the Mandala Blossoms stamp and die bundle, and the Delicate Lattice Stencil. Here is an image of the embossing folder:
Here is my card:
This card took an entirely different path than I had originally intended! I started by embossing the Pristine Lilac Embossing Folder. It can be purchased without the die and that is the one I had. So I cut it out which wasn't that hard! I colored it with Copic Markers and colored pencils.
I made the background by die-cutting one of the Petal Tipped Label Wafer Dies out of an A2 piece of cardstock. I rubbed Heather PSInk over it. I then attached the new Delicate Lattice Stencil over it and rubbed Violet Ink over it so the background was two toned. I embossed the new Dotted Diamond Embossing Folder out of another A2 sized white cardstock. I put that underneath the purple background. I then tucked my embossed, colored flower into the opening using foam tape under the top of it. I stamped a sentiment from the Mandala Blossoms stamp and die set using black ink. I attached that to the top. Last, I added some sparkling clear sequins around the background.
Yesterday and the day before I blogged two other cards using the new release. I'll link to those blog posts as well.
I used the Fantastic Florals Embossing Folder and Cutting Die for this card. You can see the blog post HERE.
This card uses the I Love You A Bunch Stamp and Die Bundle. You can see that blog post HERE.

WOW, as "as a dedicated purple lover" this card hits all the marks. I adore Lilacs and knew when I saw this new Embossing Folder and die that it would make amazing cards, your card proves that thought. Everything you used on this card works so well together, those new Petal dies, the Emb folder with it's accompanying die and the background stencil. BEAUTIFUL card, the only thing missing is the ability to smell that beautiful Lilac.
