I have another card to share with you using products from the SSS Festive Fun release. I made another card using the baking products as I love them so much! I used the Gingerbread Man embossing folder and cutting die. I still want to make cards with a few of the other supplies including the darling Gingerbread Man Stitching Die using felt. I think that is one I will make with my grandkids. Here is an image of the embossing folder:
Here is my card:
I embossed the Gingerbread Man embossing folder using white cardstock. I then die-cut four of the gingerbread men since that is how many are in full form on the front of it. I then embossed those four at the same time. I colored all of them with one color of Copic Marker! I didn't even shade them at all! I used a white uniball over the raised lines for all of the details which was super easy. I also use it to clean up any mistakes on the background. If you have trouble with coloring embossing folders with Copics, change the tip on your marker, make sure it isn't too full of ink and go lightly along the edges as they sometimes will spread a little. It gets so easy and is really fun to do!
I attached the four individual cookies over the background. I should have used foam tape so you could tell they were raised. Another thought is if you have trouble coloring the edges of images with Copics on embossing folders, you could add the die to all of the images and just cut off the extra as you won't have any mistakes that way! I stamped a sentiment using the Merry and Sweet stamp set and Cranberry PSInk. I love the dark red of that color. i attached the sentiment to the top of the card with foam tape behind it. I tied some of the new red and white twine on the side of the card.
I will be back tomorrow with another card using the new Festive Fun release. I can't stop creating them! I hope you enjoyed this card using the Gingerbread Man Embossing Folder and Cutting Die! Thanks for visiting today! Suzy
Oh that is gorgeous! Love the cute gingerbread man background you've created and how fabulous the red and white baker's twine looks on it! Gorgeous xoxo
