I made a Thanksgiving card that uses lots of products from both the Sweet Wishes and the STAMPtember release together. I used the Pie Wafer Die, the Give Thanks and Eat Pie Bundle, the Pumpkin Spice Bundle, and the Buckeye Leaves Embossing Folder. Here is my card:
I made the background using Ivory cardstock and the Buckeye Leaves embossing Folder. I cut it down and attached it to a burnt orange card base. I die-cut the Pie Wafer Die from white cardstock. I colored all the pieces with Copic Markers and attached them together. I applied some foam tape to the top of the whip cream so it looks like it is dimensional.
I used some stamped images I had leftover from another card using the Pumpkin Spice Vibes stamp and die set (the leaves and acorn). I arranged two of the leaves and an acorn over the pie. I've been watching lots of Holiday Baking Shows, so I had to decorate my pie haha. I stamped a sentiment from the Give Thanks and Eat Pie stamp and die bundle using Cabbage PSInk (I stamped it 3 times to darken the ink color). I arranged the pie in the center of the background with foam tape behind it. I added the two sentiments above and below it and the four leaves I had left sticking out from the sides of the sentiment.
This card is very out of my comfort zone as I don't like fall colors or fall for that matter. I do love pumpkin pie though! We don't really have fall here in CA, so that is probably why I don't love it. If I lived where the leaves all turn gorgeous colors, I would feel differently. And the weather hasn't cooled down, so we always have a hot TG which kind of ruins the fall vibe everyone loves. Thanks for visiting today and I hope you like my card! Suzy
