I have three tags to share with you today using the SSS Snow Buddies stamp and die bundle from the Festive Fun release. Here is an image of the set:
I had previously shared this gift card holder with you using this same set and the Gift Card Pocket Tag Die on this blog post HERE:
Here are my three tags:
I stamped and colored the images in the Snow Buddies stamp set and die cut them out with the matching dies. I primarily used Copics as they have been my coloring choice lately because they are way faster than pencils! (took me forever to realize that haha). But I do usually go in with pencils for some additional texture or shading. I made this tag and one other with Tim Holtz Mica Sprays flicked with white acrylic paint. I die-cut it out with the SSS Large Tag Wafer Die. I attached a ground using white cardstock and die-cutting a small hill. I applied Crystal Stickles over the snow. I layered two snowflakes using the Gift Card Pocket Tag Die and an Opal Dazzling Gem in the center. I also rubbed some stickles over it for additional shine. The sentiment is stamped with Apple PSI and is from the Merry and Sweet stamp set. I tied torn fabric in the top of the tag.
I die0cut this tag using the same Large Tag Dies. I embossed it with the Frosty Pines embossing folder. I attached the stamped image and used Frosted Lace Stickles over the bottom and the icebergs. I added a snowflake from the same Gift Card Pocket Tag Die. I'm not sure what stamp set my Merry Christmas is from - it might be one of the Stamptember collab sets as it was in my sentiment bag. But lots of sets have a similar sized merry christmas. I stamped it with black ink and die-cut it out and attached it to the top of the tag. I added an Opal Dazzling Gem to the center. The holly leaves are from the Holly Jolly stamp set. I tied a red ribbon in the hole.
I used the Scalloped Gift Tags for this tag. I sprayed my paper with Tim Holtz Frozen Fog Mica Spray and flicked it with white paint. I added a piece of white cardstock to the bottom for a ground. I attached the stamped image and used Stickles for snow. I use da Merry Christmas stamp (not sure which one) stamped with black ink on a Honeybee sentiment banner on the bottom. I used a holly leaf stamp from the Holly Jolly stamp and die set on the top and tied some red/white twine in the hole I also added a red bow and some Chalk Stick Nuvo Drops. Looks like I squashed one while photographing it and got it on the red ribbon - hoops.
I hope you enjoyed these tags made with all kinds of products from the Festive Fun release and images from the Snow Buddies stamp set. It's getting close friends - yikes. All I've done is made cards and tags! Have a great weekend! Time for me to decorate! Suzy
How did you make and attach the white holder for the red and white string on the Simon Says Stamp Peeking Snowman tag, the rectangular tag that is tall and skinny? (on the SSS website). I got that stamp set as a gift with purchase, and I like the look of the reinforced round hole being attached to the middle of the top of the card. Also, did you fussy cut the tag out to avoid die cutting it and having a hole in the card for attaching a string?
I hope this makes sense!
Thank you
Sherrie
