As promised on my post yesterday, I made a fall card today! I think I have mentioned about 100 times that fall colors are not my favorite, so I tend to not enjoy making cards for this season. But I did. I actually made 2!!!! I used a product from the STAMPtember release called Pumpkin Spice Vibes stamp and die bundle and from the Sweet Wishes release the Buckeye Leaves embossing folder. Here are images of both:
Here is my card:
I embossed the Buckeye Leaves embossing folder using white cardstock. Now based on coloring the background beige, I should have just used beige cardstock! I colored it with Copic markers doing a pretty messy job. I used one color for the leaves and a second color for the stems and lines. No shading. Easy peasy and quick. I then used a beige marker to color around the leaves. I die-cut an oval out of cream cardstock using the SSS Nested Oval Dies and attached it to the center of the background with foam tape behind it.
I stamped all of the images in the Pumpkin Spice Vibes stamp set with Latte PSInk. I colored them in with Copic Markers. I also stamped a few leaves, but I used them on the other fall card I made today. So this card only got the acorns! I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with a secret ink I cannot mention at this time now that I see I used it. Oooops. I arranged all of the stamped and die-cut images over the oval. I then glued very thick rope/twine/hemp around teh circle and then glued a bow over where they overlapped.
There you go - fall ya'll! I did it. Twice. I'll post the other one in a few days. Just to make you wait haha. I hope you enjoy these colors more than I do. The Pumpkin Spice stamp is very cute as is the Buckeye Leaves embossing folder. And they were fun to color, so there is that. Now let me get back to my holiday cards please! Suzy
