Today the SSS STAMPtember collaboration is with The Greeting Farm. The stamp set is a 4x6 set and is called It's Spooky. It can be purchased alone or with a set of matching dies as shown here (click on to get to set in SSS store):
I made a slimline with these darling little spooky characters:
I die-cut a slimline rectangle with the SSS Nested Slimline Rectangle Dies. I applied Trio 20 ink to the top using Morning first and then Twilight around the edges. I always use a Tim Holtz Foam Applicator to apply ink on skies as I can't blend lightly with anything else. I added a ground using Trio 19, Fawn and Cozy. I attached this to a white card base. I stamped all of the images in the stamp set with Intense Black Ink on white cardstock. I always find a way to use every image in a stamp set and these little kids were all too cute not to use! I also stamped the sentiment with black ink.
I colored all the kids in with Copic Markers. I used a Gold Uniball and a White Uniball for details. I fussy cut all of the images out as I didn't have the matching dies. I will admit, it would have been nice to have them on this one! I applied some Nuvo Drops over some items. I used Aubergine Stickles over purple areas and that color is bomb! I attached all of the images with foam tape behind their heads, but glued their feet down. I attached the sentiment to the top. I used some white acrylic paint for white drops on the sky and also used some Chalk Stick Nuvo Drops.
This Greeting Farm It's Spooky stamp set was made for me as I love cute whimsical images like this. You can purchase just the stamp HERE or the stamp and die together HERE. You can see all of the STAMPtember collaboration stamp sets HERE and all of the SSS STAMPtember release products HERE. Thanks for visiting - we are almost half way through the month with lots more excitement coming! Suzy
