Today there are 3 SSS STAMPtember collaboration stamp companies to celebrate the final day of this celebration! This blog post is for Riley and Company. You can see my blog post for Simple Stories here and my blog post for Dare 2B Artzy here. The Riley and Company stamp set is called Flying By and is sold alone or with a set of matching dies as shown here:
Here is my card:
I started with a piece of A2 white cardstock for the background. I originally stamped some of the stamps on it and colors the sky, then colored them in. But I had some bleeding Copic issues, so I went a different more time consuming less one layer direction! I colored the background with two colors of Copics and blended them together in swirly patterns. I then used the 0 Copic Blender to mix the colors and lighten them. I die-cut this piece down with an A2 Thin frame Die and mounted it on a white card base.
I stamped all of the stamps in the Flying By stamp set with Intense Black ink on white cardstock. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and used a silver uniball on the airplane. I then fussy cut everything out including the sentiments. I had already stamped the airplane, banner, and clouds on my sky background, so I just covered them with these cut out images. I added the two sentiments. I used glossy accents over the center of the goggles and the clouds. I added some Nuvo Drops in Chalk Stick and Black Board around the background.
This cute stamp set by Riley and Company is called Flying By and can be purchased alone here or with a set of matching dies here. And with that I am signing off of my daily STAMPtember blog posts! Goodbye to all and thank you for your support. I'll be back in a month or two hahaha. Suzy
