Today there are TWO SSS STAMPtember collaboration stamp companies - one is with Pretty Pink Posh and you can see my blog post for that one HERE and the other one is with Creative Worship Stamps which is on this blog post. The stamp set is called Truly Blessed and is sold alone or as a bundle with a set of matching dies as you can see here:
I made a somewhat one layer card and did not have the dies. I really LOVE all of the sentiments in this stamp set and it was hard to decide which one to use. Here is my card:
I used Arches cold pressed watercolor paper for this card. I decided it was time to do some watercoloring and this set seemed perfect for it! I embossed the floral design twice on both sides of the card with white embossing powder. I arranged it so most of it was showing in the corners and then just a little bit of the leaves below it on each side. I then painted them with Karin BrushMarkers my favorite watercolors for card making as they give you so much intense color! They also make doing the background easy and as colors reconstitute with water - meaning they never really stop moving which can be good or bad! I just run a wet brush over the colored designs and pull color out. This is why I only use these markers with embossed images as it is hard to keep color where you want it if you don't have those edges. I die-cut this piece out with an A2 Thin Frame Die and attached it to a dark orange card base.
I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with Mandarin PSInk on another small piece of leftover Arches paper so it matched and die-cut it with the same A2 Thin Frame Dies (smallest one) and then die-cut another one out of the same cardstock I used for the card base. I attached the frame and sentiment piece using foam tape. I added some SSS Terracotta Embellishment Mix sequins around the background.
This is such a gorgeous stamp set by Creative Worship Stamps called Truly Blessed and is sold alone HERE or with a set of matching dies HERE. I just love all of the sentiments in this set. I wasn't familiar with this company before and I love them! You can see my PPP post here for the other collaboration stamp for today. You an see all of the SSS STAMPtember collaboration sets that are still available HERE and all of the SSS STAMPtember product release HERE. Thanks for visiting! Suzy
