Today's SSS STAMPtember collaboration is with This Calls For Confetti and the stamp set is called Unbelievably Bigfoot. It is sold alone or with a set of matching dies as shown here:
Here is my card:
When I looked at this Unbelievably Bigfoot stamp set, I immediately wanted to do something with the two tree stamps. I thought it would look cool to create a background of rainbow colored trees getting darker as they moved to the front. I tried 3 different renditions of this and they all looked great! One went from yellow to purple and on another I used all the colors of the rainbow. But I decided to make one with just yellows and reds for my actual card. Now I have two extras made for other cards. I used 5 colors of PSInks in this order: Lemonade, Cantaloupe, Grapefruit, Blush, and Cherry. Because the colors get darker as I used them, they cover the trees underneath them. I die-cut this piece down with an A2 Thin Frame Die and attached it to a black card base.
I stamped the Bigfoot and a sentiment from the stamp set with Intense Black Ink. I then embossed over them with clear embossing powder. I fussy cut both out, but there is a set of matching dies. I decided to add more black to the background to tie in the black of these. I flicked some black acrylic paint over the background. You could also use the Intense Black Ink refill to flick. I also used some Black Board Nuvo Drops to add some bigger more dimensional spots. Then I stamped the two star clusters in the stamp set around the top of the background. I attached the xxx and the sentiment with foam tape behind them.
I hope you enjoyed this card made with the Unbelievably Bigfoot stamp set by This Calls For Confetti which can be purchased alone HERE or with a set of matching dies HERE. You can see all of the STAMPtember collaboration stamp sets that are still available HERE and all of the SSS STAMPtember release products HERE. Thanks so much for visiting - I'll be here daily for the exciting month of September! Suzy
