Today's SSS STAMPtember collaboration is with Hero Arts. The stamp set is called Celebrate Flowers and is sold alone or in 3 different die configurations. You can purchase it with just the flower dies HERE or just the sentiment dies HERE or with ALL the dies as shown HERE:
Here is my card:
I stamped all of the flowers in the Celebrate Flowers stamp set with Intense Black Ink on white cardstock. I then colored them in with Copic Markers. I added some lines/shading with colored pencils. I used a white Uniball to add lines to some. I then fussy cut all these babies out - yep, even those small leaves as I love a challenge! The close cutting allowed for them to stand out better since I only glued the bases down. But it would have been nice to have the dies for this one!
I made a card base with Lawn Fawn Guava cardstock - my favorite color of all times. I then embossed the new Basket Weave Embossing Folder from the STAMPtember release with white cardstock. I used the Nested Domed Arches Frames to die-cut a frame from white cardstock and from the guava cardstock and attached them over the embossed image. I cut that around the frame and attached it to the card base. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on a SSS Sentiment Label Die with Intense Black Ink and attached it to the bottom of the embossed area with foam tape behind it (cut thin so I could tuck the flowers under it). I glued all the flowers and leaves down behind the banner and only attached the top of the large flowers with foam tape behind them. This way the rest could kind of float. I added some Moonshine sequins around the background.
I think this Hero Arts Celebrate Flowers stamp set might be my favorite of all the collaboration sets for STAMPtember. I love that you can purchase it alone or with a set of just flower dies or just sentiment dies or with ALL the dies in a bundle! You can see all of the STAMPtember collaboration sets that are still available HERE and all of the STAMPtember products by SSS HERE. Thanks for visiting! Suzy
