Today is the first day of STAMPTEMBER!!!!! I'm so excited! If you are new around here, it is a month long stamping celebration by Simon Says Stamp. There will be an official STAMPtember blog party on the 2nd, but today I have a card to share with you celebrating the new release (which is now live in the SSS shop). I used the Autumn Gourds embossing folder for my card and the Pumpkin to Talk About stamp and die set for the sentiment. Here is an image of the embossing folder:
Here is my card
I embossed the image first using white cardstock. I didn't realize at the time I made this card that there was a matching set of matching autumn gourd dies! I made a one layer card though. I colored the gourds with Copic Markers. I used colored pencils in just the lines on the gourds. I added details with a white Uniball - lots of dots. I also added shadows behind each one with a Warm Copic Marker.
I stamped a sentiment from the Pumpkin to Talk About stamp set using one of the new Red Ink ink cube sets called Paprika PSInk. I die-cut it out with the matching dies. I attached that to the bottom of the card front with foam tape. I added some Nuvo Rudolph's Nose Dream Drops.
This STAMPtember release is soooo big and soooo good and I'm so excited about it. I even have a stamp set in the release that I illustrated called Autumn Greetings which comes as a bundle with a set of dies. I hope you enjoyed this card using the new Autumn Gourds Embossing Folder - thanks for visiting today and see you tomorrow for the big STAMPtember blog party with some more of my creations using the new products! Suzy
