My card today uses a bunch of different Simon Says Stamp products from several different releases. I did use a product from the Cheering For You release, the Graceful Flowers stamp and die set and a product from the Sunny Vibes release, the Fab Floral Plate. I also used the Spindle Flower die and the Abundant Leaves dies from a few months ago. Here is the Spindle Flower Die:
I have loved this die since it came out and just haven't used it yet. I also liked the colors they used on the packaging, so I did something similar. Here is my card:
I die-cut the Fab Floral Plate first from white cardstock. I used a metal plate to make sure all of the little pieces fell out easily. I then applied some Guava PSInk to the front of a white card base and glued the die-cut floral plate over it. Next, I die-cut one set of the Spindle Flower Dies and one set of the Abundant Leaves Dies. I colored both of them in with Copics and used one pink and one green colored pencil to color just inside the lines on the die-cuts.
I glued the flowers together, just glueing the bottom portion of each layer so the edges stuck up although you can't tell that in the photo. I then glued them to the card front. I attached all three of the leaves glueing just the stems so the leaves would also stick up. I stamped a sentiment from the Graceful Flowers stamp set and die-cut it out with the matching dies. I love this set for the sentiments as the font is so soft and I like all the white around it. I attached that to the bottom of the card front with foam tape behind it. I then added some Moonshine sparkling clear sequins around the flowers and leaves.
I love mixing older products with newer products. I try to use ALL of the products in each release, so I have a basket of products I haven't used yet. I often pull from it to mix old and new and I love how this card turned out with a bit of this and that! These dies are classics and are great to use over and over. Thanks so much for visiting today and for your support! Suzy
