Today I have another Tim Holtz floral stamp set made into a card. Simon Says Stamp released dies for a few of his new flower stamps in the Cheering For You release. I used the Floristry Stamp and Die bundle for my card which is so so pretty. Here is an image of the bundle:
My card is a 5x5" square card as that worked best with the floral bouquet. You may not be able to tell in my photos, but I did use all of the individual flower dies as well, so many of the flowers are popped up with foam tape behind them.
I stamped the large floral bouquet in the Floristry stamp set with Intense Black Ink two times on white cardstock. I die-cut one of them out full size and then die-cut all of the individual flowers out of the second one. Quite a few of the flowers on my card are popped up. I colored ALL of them with colored pencils. I have no idea why I colored the flowers underneath the popped up flowers except that I wanted to see what colors I liked. ??? So ultimately, they are just as pretty underneath as they are on top haha. I attached them all with foam tape so it's really fun in person since some are elevated. You could add more if you wanted with the leftover second stamped image if you enjoy fussy cutting. I decided to keep it as it was!
I die-cut a frame using the A7 Nested Frame Dies from yellow cardstock. I then used the Gina K. Designs Swiss Dot 5x7" embossing folder with white cardstock. I attached it to a piece of 5x5" pink cardstock. I glued the frame to the top of it cutting off the bottom portion and adding the end of the frame over the rest (just had to make the 5x7" frame fit a 5" sized square). You can't really see the swiss dots, but I can't handle plain white cardstock! I glued the large floral bouquet over the center of it. There are little bits that hang over the edge, but I cut them off in my photo when I used the perspective crop tool which makes your cards perfectly shaped! I die-cut the Miss You sentiment using the CZ Little Banner Basics die from white and pink cardstock. I glued the white one over the pink frame and then attached that to the bottom of the bouquet using foam tape behind it. I added a double pink twine bow underneath it. I also added some Starshine Embellishment Mix around the sentiment.
Hope you enjoyed this very floral 5.5" x 5.5" square card today. I love all of Tim Holtz's floral stamps, but this Floristry Stamp and Die bundle might be my favorite. I've got one more I'm using this week to share with you. I'm slowly working my way through the Cheering For You release before STAMPtember hits which is full of sooooo many cool/awesome/fun new products! There is always more around the corner - thank you SSS! Suzy
I love this card - your work inspires me!
