I made a card today in about an hour which is unreal for me! I usually spend 2-4 hours per card or even more! But not today. And you (((might))) be able to tell - I'll let you be the judge haha. I used several products from the new SSS Cheering For You release including the Layering Apple Wafer Die as shown here:
Here is my card:
I wanted to make a card using 6 of the apples. That was my thought when I saw this die and luckily they fit on an A2 card! I started by die-cutting the Layering Apple Wafer Die from white cardstock 6 times. I then colored the apples with Copic Markers. I will admit that they don't look too good. In person they looked blended better, but sometimes the camera picks things up that I don't see with my eyes. The yellow ones aren't blended well so I apologize! I glued the colored pieces on the white bases that are part of the die x 6.
I made a background using the Rolling Waves embossing folder as I like some texture on my backgrounds! I then glued the six apples to the card front. I stamped a sentiment using the Just Write stamps and die-cut it out with the matching dies. I glued that to the front of the bottom apple. I then added some clear drops from the Rainbow Splash Drop stickers on each apple. I then photographed my card. Then I decided I should have put some white splatters on the apples. So I added white spots of acrylic paint with the back of a paintbrush because I'm afraid of splattering. Then I re-photographed it. Typical me haha! Ok, maybe I spent more than an hour on this card!
So this is my apple card using the SSS Layering Apple die from the Cheering for You release. I'm sorry I didn't blend my yellow apples very well! I do like the card though and will give it away! haha Thanks for visiting today! Suzy
