Hello friends! Today I have a bright and happy card to share with you. I used the HAPPY RAINBOW STENCIL from the SSS Sunny Vibes release. Here is an image of this stencil set that includes 4 different 6x9" stencils. Here is an image:
There are so many cute cards using this stencil in the SSS Sunny Vibes gallery on the SSS Blog HERE. They all just make me happy. Here is my card (which also makes me happy!):
I cut a piece of 5x7 white cardstock to make my rainbow on as I wanted it as big as possible. I then picked 8 colors of Pawsitively Saturated ink to make it (see colors in my supply list and the photo above). I used SSS Brushes to apply the ink over the first three stencils. I wanted the colors to be rich! I then used the final stencil to apply the details. I used Simon Hurley Lunar Paste in Clear Skies for the blue and then Prom Queen for the pink. I had to dry each color I used before applying the next color. Last, I used Tim Holtz Texture Paste for the white areas.
I die-cut two of the You Brighten My Day dies from white cardstock. I used Surf ink over one set of the letters and glued those letters over the white ones. I attached it to the middle of the rainbow with foam tape behind it. I stamped the smaller sentiment using the Rainbows and Butterflies stamp and black ink and die-cut them out twice so I could glue it together so it was thicker. I glued that below the main sentiment. I added some Moonshine sparkling clear sequins around the sentiment.I attached the entire card front to a white 5x7" card base.
So who agrees that this Happy Rainbow Stencil is the cutest and happiest stencil out there? I love color and I love rainbows, so it makes me so happy. There are lots of happy products in the Sunny Vibes release HERE, so check it out if you haven't already. Thanks so much for visiting today! Suzy
