I have a floral card to share with you that uses a cling stamp from just a few releases ago (but I can't remember which one!). It is called the Flower Burst Cling Stamp. I made a 5.5" square card with it when it was released and they had it at the SSS Create event. I had a couple people come up to me asking how I had created the glitter look on the flowers. In case anyone wonders, I used Nuvo Gltter Drops over every single flower! Here is the stamp set:
And here is my original 6x6 card that I used Nuvo Glitter Drops on:
And here is the card I made today using it:
I stamped the Flower Burst cling stamp without the center piece on a piece of A2 sized white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I then colored the flowers in with Copic Markers. I added a little shading with colored pencils. I used a white Uniball for lines on each petal. I die-cut this piece out with an A2 Thin Frame Die. I attached it to a piece of Tim Holtz Black Heavystock. Then I attached this to a white card base.
I stamped a sentiment using the Bold Smiles stamp set with black ink and embossed over it with clear embossing powder. I die-cut it out and attached that to the opening in the flowers with foam tape behind it. I added some Black Board black spots around the background of the card. I used Nuvo Glitter Drops in the center of the flowers. I added some Windsor Wine Nuvo Drops around the sentiment.
Just another simple flower card that gives me great joy to make because I love to color flowers so much. I hope you enjoyed this card using the Flower Burst cling stamp today! Thanks for visiting! Suzy
