Today I made a crd using the new Taco 'Bout It bundle by SSS in the Celebrate Release. I didn't use ALL of the products that come in the full Taco 'Bout It bundle, but they can all be purchased together as shown here:
There is a 4x6" Talk 'Bout It stamp set and a Talk 'Bout It set of matching dies. There are also Let's Party sentiment strips and Let's Party reverse sentiment strips that go with the theme. There is also a really cool Build A Taco Die and a Margarita Glass Die. All of these products can be purchased separately. I only used the stamp set and sentiment strips on my card.
There are a lot of small stamps in this set, so I used all of them except for the margarita glass. I cut apart the small taco with the two hearts beside it and used just the taco. I stamped all of theses images from the Talk 'Bout It stamp set on a piece of white cardstock with Intense Black Ink using my "random stamping" technique I use often. I love making puzzles out of small stamp sets to create card backgrounds, especially when they allow me to color! I colored all of these in with colored pencils and it only took about an hour!
I die-cut this piece out with a SSS A2 Thin Frame Die and mounted it on a bright red card base. I then pulled out my BRAND NEW GINA K. FUSE which is finally back in stock at SSS. I had been waiting for this machine to come in stock for about 3 months. In the mean time, I tried buying a couple of others ones and neither fully covered my laser printed items with foil. I was so frustrated. This time it worked, so this machine is a good one! And I only heated it up for about 3 mins, where I heated the other 2 for 30 mins thinking maybe that would help with the coverage. And one of these two was a Minc, so I figured it was a user error. But this time it worked, so who knows! I used red foil for the first sentiment from the Reverse Let's Party sentiment strips and then green foil for the second sentiment from the Let's Party sentiment strips. I die-cut them out with SSS Sentiment Label dies and added them to the bottom of the card with foam tape behind them. Without the glare, the red is a bright red. I added some Red Berry Gloss Nuvo Drops and Vintage Regency Green Nuvo Drops around the background. This fills in any open spaces.
And now it is Friday night and guess what I want for dinner? I think it is going to happen. As long as we order to go food! Thanks for visiting today and I hope you are able to fit some tacos into your schedule soon. In the mean time, have fun creating with this cute Taco 'Bout It stamp set! Suzy
