I'm back with another card using dies from the SSS Be Bold release and even ink blended again! Thank goodness for so many flower options in dies! They may convert me! I primarily used the new Whirl Blossom Die as shown here:
Here is my card:
I die-cut six of the Whirl Blossom die flowers. The die has both the main flower as well as a frame. I popped out the inside of the frames so I could use them alone. I applied Bubblegum PSInk to the inside of each of the solid flowers as well as a little to the end of the petals, leaving the centers white. I glued the frames over the flowers with glue just in the center so I could bend the frame petals upward. I added an aqua pearl in the center of each from the Honeybee Vintage Love Pearl Stickers.
I made the background using the Feather Spiral Embossing Folder from the Celebrate Release. I attached it to a white card base and rubbed it with some Tidepool ink also using the Tim Holtz mini blending foam for a soft application. I added some ink to the outside edges as well. I die-cut the CZ Scripty Hugs die and inked teh frame with Tidepool Ink and the letters with Bubblegum Ink. I attached foam tape behind it which held the pieces together. I die-cut two sentiments from the CZ Congratulations Sentiment Dies also from the Celebrate release using the SSS Sentiment Label Dies. I attached the sentiments and the flowers around the background. I added a few more of the Honeybee Vintage Love pearl stickers around the sentiments.
Is this card just so out of my norm? Yesterday's was as well and tomorrow will be one more card using dies and ink-blending. Then I think I will return to my first love, coloring! I hope to see you at the Create coloring booth to color if you are attending! Suzy
