I made another card without flowers on it - go me! This time I used the Celebrating You stamp set from the SSS Celebrate Release. I used the stamp and the die which you can buy together as a bundle as shown here:
I also used the new A7 Nesting Frame Dies from the Celebrate Release. I wanted to show that you can use them on a standard A2 sized card as well! So I made a shaker card with them.
I stamped two of the images in the Celebrating You stamp set with Intense Black Ink. I colored them in with Copic Markers. I used just a few colored pencils to add some additional shading. I die-cut them out with the matching dies. I embossed the Swiss Dot embossing folder from the Rainbow Splash line using white cardstock. I attached that to a white card base. I didn't cut apart my A7 Nesting Dies as by not cutting them apart you get twice as many frames in ever size so they can nest next to each other as shown here. I started with the one that was 5.5" wide so they would fit on the front of my A2 sized card. I colored several of the frames in purple and blue, altering the colors as I moved inward.
I attached a piece of acetate and then some foam tape behind the frames. I put some of the Gina K. Disco Ball 3mm sequins on the inside and then attached the frame over them. I attached the two stamped images over the frames. I stamped a sentiment on a SSS Label Die with Intense Black Ink from the stamp set and attached that over the top of the frames. I then added a few more of the Disco Ball sequins to the bottom of the sentiment strip.
I also used this Celebrating You stamp set for another card I posted on THIS BLOG POST if you want to see it used a different way. Thanks for visiting today. I'm slowly working my way through the SSS Celebrate release and will be back daily this week! Suzy
