Now that it has been 2 days since the Celebrate release and it is day 2 of the blog hop, I bet you have already seen LOTS of inspiration! I hope to inspire you one more time with a card I have to share today that might be one of my favorite cards ever! If you are like me, making wedding cards are one of the last things I do. But when I saw the new To the Happy Couple stamp set, I knew I had to make one even though all my friends are at the age of funerals, not weddings! haha (joking). My daughters on the other hand have lots of friends getting married so there is still an audience for my new favorite card! Here is an image of this darling stamp set that caught my eye. It is sold as a bundle with a set of matching dies:
Here is the card:
I made the background with the new Sunrise Overlap Embossing Folder embossed with white cardstock. I attached it to a white card base. I die-cut a frame using the A2 Frame Dies (from the last release) using Silver Matte Cardstock. I attached that to the outside of the background. I die-cut the new Lace Heart Wafer Die out of silver matte cardstock also and then die-cut the heart out of white cardstock. I colored the heart red with Copic Markers.
I stamped a few of the hearts in the To the Happy Couple stamp set and the bride and groom with black ink on white cardstock. I colored the hearts with the same red markers. I added a few details to the bride and groom with a fine tip black marker. I used Diamond Stickles over parts of the dress. I arranged the die-cut heart on the background where the bride and grooms heads would be and the other hearts around them. I added a sentiment from the stamp set stamped with black ink and die-cut with the matching dies to the top center of the card. I used some of the new Starshine Confetti sequins around the background.
I made this card with the new Blossom Bunches Embossing Folder. I posted it a couple days ago on this blog post HERE if you want details on how I made it.
