In the Limited Edition Easter 2024 Kit that was released last week, there are 6 of Suzy's Watercolor Cards. They are from my Spring Flowers Watercolor Set. Here is an image of the kit with the six cards included:
I posted a "one stamp, five ways" post when it was released using the kit HERE. That post had three of these cards painted in it. I also posted another one of the cards colored on this post HERE. That left me with two more to color and I just finished another one to share with you. I love coloring these cards as they are printed on Ranger Watercolor Paper and can be colored with any coloring medium of your choice! I often use Copics and colored pencils, but for today's card, I used watercolors.
I die-cut this crocus watercolor card using the SSS Basic Rectangle Dies. I then watercolored it with Karin Brushmarkers. I love using these as they are reactive, so when you wet them after they are dry, the color will still move. I use a wet brush over the painted images to color my background. I used a purple and green colored pencil to add some shading/lines to make them look more textured. I attached the panel to a purple cardstock card base.
I embossed a sentiment using the Checking In stamp set with Tim Holtz Wilted Violet embossing glaze. I die-cut it out with the matching Checking In dies. I attached that to the bottom of the card. I added some Pink Fresh Amethyst Glitter Drops around the flowers.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I hope you are enjoying this travel back to my days of sharing lots of Suzy's Watercolor Cards. I do enjoy coloring these! And the Limited Edition Easter 2024 Card Kit is still available (image at the top of this post). Suzy
