I have another card to share with you today using one of the new embossing folders in the Be Bold release. This one is called the Crocus Row Embossing Folder and Cutting Die. These are just my favorite products lately! I love coloring them and layering them as you will see again on my card today! Here is the folder:
And here is my card:
I embossed the Crocus Row embossing folder using white cardstock. I then die-cut the three crocus dies that come with it and embossed them by taping all three in the embossing folder and running it through the die-cut machine again (3x). I then colored the crocus on the full one with Copic Markers. I did use one purple pencil to add some shading. I also used a white Uniball to add some highlights. I colored the three die-cut crocus the same way. I die-cut this piece with the second smallest die in the SSS Basic Rectangle Dies. I adhered it to a white card base.
I added the three die-cut crocus by using foam tape behind the top and gluing the bottom down. I used the new CZ Happy Combos stamp set with matching dies for the "for you". I used the CZ Happy Wafer Die for the happy with purple cardstock. I glued three together for more dimension. I glued the happy to the top of the card. I then attached the smaller sentiment next to it with foam tape. I added some Amethyst Pink Fresh Glitter Drops around the sentiment.
I actually have crocus bulbs in my front yard in white and lavender and they just recently bloomed. I love this Crocus Row embossing folder and cutting die from the new Be Bold release. It is so realistic and was so fun to color! Thanks for visiting today! Suzy
