Simon Says Stamp has a fun Limited Edition Gina K Designs Captured Heart stamp and die set that is a free gift with a $50 Gina K Design purchase starting on January 17th, 2024 at 12:00 EST. Here is an image of the Captured Heart stamp and die bundle:
I made a card with the stamp set and used the die just for the greeting.
I started by stamping all of the images in the Captured Heart Stamp Set in a "random stamping" technique I often use. I used Latte Pawsitively Saturated Ink for no-line coloring. I stamped some of the sentiments as well. I cut the four houses apart so I could use them individually, but they can still be lined up to use together. I then die-cut this piece with the SSS A2 Thin Frame Die so I could mount it on a red card base.
I colored all of the images in with colored pencils and a couple of glitter pens in reds and pinks. It was easy to outline the letters using the glitter pens. My favorite are the ones by Crafter's Companion that came in a previous card kit - I use them all the time. I used a white uniball for details. I added a shadow to all of the stamped elements with a gray colored pencil. I attached this piece to a red cardstock card base.
I stamped another sentiment on white cardstock with Crimson Rainbow Splash ink and die-cut it out with the matching die. It got kind of lost on the background, so I attached it to a white Honeybee Banner Die and then a red cardstock die for a layered look. I then attached a bunch of heart embellishments over different hearts on the stamped background. I used the Pretty Pink Posh clay hearts, some Doodlebug Heart Epoxy Stickers, and the new Rainbow Splash Sparkly Hearts Stickers (the largest ones). I attached the sentiment to the center of the right side of the card.
I love that this stamp set has matching dies and I really should have taken advantage of that. Hopefully other people showed you all the cute things you could do using the stamps AND the dies! This is a simple one layer card that does utilize ALL of the stamp images in the Captured Heart stamp set though! This is such a fun little set that you get free with a $50 Gina K. Designs purchase through SSS and they just came out with a new release which you can see HERE. I buy so many of her stamps that I should have stock in the company haha. Thanks for visiting! Suzy
