I have another SSS DieCember project to share with you today. For this one, I used the Elegant Ornament Wafer Die as well as a couple more of the new products including the Rhythmic Waves Embossing Folder and the Pine Needle Sprig Dies. I also used the Arching Sprig Wafer Die and the Holiday Blossoms set from the All the Joy release and last, the Holly Sprigs Die from Stamptember. Here is an image of the Elegant Ornament Wafer die:
Here is my card:
I embossed the Rhythmic Wave Embossing Folder with white cardstock and used that for the background of the card. I then die-cut the Elegant Ornament Wafer Die from gold glitter paper, white cardstock, and vellum. I layered them together and attached the ornament to the front of the card.
I used one of my sheets I had sprayed with Tim Holtz Mica Mists for the greenery. I sprayed this one with a mixture of Specimen and Tree Lot. I splattered it with gold and silver ink from the Zig Starry Colors paint and some white gouache as well. I then die-cut several dies from it - the new Pointy Pine Needle Sprig Dies, the Arching Spruce Sprig wafer die (All the Joy release), and the Holly Sprigs wafer die (Stamptember). I cut berries using the same die from Red Holographic cardstock.
I attached the pine needles and berries to the top of the ornament. I then tied a bow with a piece of gold cording and glued that to the top. I embossed a sentiment from the Holiday Blossoms stamp and die set using Red Geranium embossing powder. I attached that to the top of the card with foam tape beneath it. I added some red shiny gem stickers to the top of the berries and in the center of the ornament.
I used a lot of products for this card! I love mixing things together from different releases. The main products are from the DieCember release though - the Elegant Ornament Wafer Die and the Rhythmic Waves Embossing Folder. I hope you enjoyed this card and come back often over the next few days as I will be sharing more projects from this new release! Suzy
