Today is the Simon Says Stamp All the Joy release and it's a good one! (((It will bring you lots of JOY)))!!! You can see the entire release HERE. Today I have a card to share with you using the Once Upon a Time samp set and matching dies. There is a two day blog hop on November 2nd and November 3rd (I'll be participating in the second day). Here is an image of the Once Upon a Time stamp and die bundle:
My grand-daughter just loves this set. It is definitely a winner with little children. Here is my card:
I stamped all of the images in the stamp set with black ink on white cardstock. I colored them all in with Copic Markers. I die-cut them out with the matching dies. I made four of the birds.
I used one of the new Holiday Color Blend Cardstock for the background. I cut a piece of white paper to be the same size and then attached the tree image which I had die-cut out to the corner of the paper where I wanted it positioned on my card. I then drew the ground and the top of the tree so it filled in the full space. I also drew the ground for the castle. I colored the areas with Copics to match the stamps I had colored. I drew the grass blades and the tree leaves with a fine tip black marker to look like the others that were on the stamp. I used colored pencils as well to add more depth to the tree. I glued this background piece to the Color Blend Cardstock.
I then glued the castle over the ground on the left and colored the bottom portion so it looked like one piece. I added Snow White and the apple and birds. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with black ink and die-cut it out with the matching dies. I added that to the bottom left. I used foam tape behind teh birds and the top of Snow White.
This card was so fun to make. I can't wait to make one with all of my other princesses! This Once Upon A Time stamp set is SO very cute!!! I love so many of the products in this All the Joy release which you can see HERE. I feel like Christmas is here! .
