Today's SSS STAMPtember Collaboration stamp set is by Brutus Monroe called "Trick or Treats". You can purchase the stamp set alone, or with a set of matching dies as shown here:
Here is my crazy Halloween card that I used a little bit of everything in the set on haha!
I started by stamping all of the images with black ink on white cardstock. I colored them with Copic Markers. I then fussy cut all of them out (but there are dies to do this). I stamped multiples of the pumpkins, straws, and the leaves. My ghost has gray shadows on it, but they washed out in my photos!
I used the Modern Postage Stencil and Die Set for the frame. I went though ALL my old patterned papers to find something that worked with the colors I had used (lavender and orange). I ended up with this very old plaid by Lawn Fawn. Even though it has lots of other colors in it, I thought it looked good and I added some lime green in a bow and another straw.
I attached the patterned paper frame around a white card base. I actually built up 3 frames using white cardstock so they are more dimensional. I then added ALL my stamped items. For the top of the cupcake, I cut off the top of the Halloween frosting and then cut the top off of the plain frosting and blended it in. I used foam tape behind some items for dimension. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on the top left side. I really have no idea why I forgot to use a plethora of Nuvo Drops or glossy accents all over these candies!
This card was really fun to make for a non-Halloween lover, but a candy lover. Even the ghost I used was cute. The frosting was a little creepy, but I wanted to use it to make my frosting higher. I hope you enjoyed this Brutus Monroe "Trick or Treats" stamp set which can be purchased alone or as a Trick or Treats bundle with dies.
