Today there are 3 STAMPtember collaboration stamp sets - yippeeeee! I have a blog post up for each of the 3 which includes this one for The Greeting Farm, as well as Avery Elle and Riley and Co. You can see those two blog posts if you click on the company name here or at the end of the post. The stamp set for The Greeting Farm is called Warm the Heart and it really does warm the heart. It is also sold as a bundle with a set of matching dies as shown here:
And here is my card:
I started by stamping all of the images in the stamp set with Latte PSInk for no-line coloring. I then colored them with Copic markers as that is all I seem to be using lately. Maybe that's because my new puppy keeps eating my colored pencils, so I am low on them! I am getting better with the Copics with all this practice though, so I feel more confident using them. I fussy cut all the images out as I didn't have the matching dies. I stamped three of the snowflakes and went over them with a silver Uniball gel pen.
To create the background, I used Layered Hills dies and the A2 Thin Frame die to create the background. I then rubbed PSInks on it in Flannel for the top the hill and in Morning for the sky using the Ranger Domed Foam applicators. I didn't bring the sky color all the way out to the edges. I attached it to a burnt red cardstock card base. I then embossed the sentiment in Aged Mahogany embossing glaze which matched perfectly. I attached all of the images with foam tape behind their heads. I drew lines with a warm Copic gray marker to add shadows underneath them. I used Frosted Lace Stickles over ALL of the snow in the scene (makes the best snow EVER) and added snow to the background. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the Stickles in the sky made the ink bleed around it - maybe because I used Ranger Watercolor Paper? I also added some white dots with a white Uniball around the sky.
Do you agree that this Warm the Heart stamp set is capable of warming the heart of the recipient? I just love this! And the images were not that hard to cut out, but if you prefer dies, it comes as a Warm the Heart bundle. You can see the Riley and Co blog post HERE and the Avery Elle blog post HERE. Hope you enjoy this day of 3 STAMPtember collaborations in one day!!! Suzy
