Today there are 3, yes 3 STAMPtember collaboration stamp sets!!! One is with Riley and Co., one with Avery Elle, and one with The Greeting Farm. This blog post is for the Riley and Co stamp set which is called "What's Up?". Here is an image of it with a set of matching dies:
Here is my card:
I first stamped this cute image of the three critters with black ink on white cardstock. I colored them in as realistically as I could (I thought of doing neon pink and yellow!) with Copic Markers. I then cut around them as I didn't have the matching dies. I added some little details with a white Uniball. I also used some white and black Nuvo drops for the eyeballs and Glossy Accents on the cat's glasses.
I was looking for a die to use for the two greetings I wanted to use on my card and I came up with the Nested Dome Arches die (second smallest one). That took me down the path of using the largest one for the card base. I then used a piece of Paper Rose 6" x 6" patterned paper pad called Rainbow Poppies over the arch by cutting off the bottom and top portions.
I die-cut the smaller one from white cardstock and stamped one sentiment on the top with Latte PSInk and the bottom one with Cappuccino PSInk. I glued that to the front of the left side of the card and attached the critters to the right side with foam tape behind them. I then used Vintage Nuvo Drops over each of the rainbow strips along the edge. I used brown Vintage Nuvo drops under the top sentiment. I then tied some twine around the center of the two sentiments underneath the critters. I attached another one of the white arches to the back of the card using rainbow tape between them to hold them together. They fit into this A2 envelope.
This stamp set has so many fun sentiments in it that could be used for lots of different card themes. I hope you enjoyed this Riley and Co. "What's Up?" card and post. You can see the Avery Elle stamp set blog post HERE and the Greeting Farm blog post HERE. Thanks for visiting! Suzy
