Today there are 3, YES 3 SSS STAMPtember collaborations: Hero Arts, MFT, and Pretty Pink Posh. I will have a blog post up for all three of these. You can see the Pretty Pink Post blog post HERE and the MFT blog post up HERE. The Hero Arts collaboration stamp set is called "Make Some Noise". You can purchase it alone or with a set of matching dies as a bundle. Here is an image:
Here is my slimline card. I had to go with slimline since there are critters which means I like to create a long scene!
I started with a rectangle die cut from the SSS Nested Slimline Rectangle Dies and white cardstock. I then rubbed two colors of Pawsitively Saturated Ink on it - Field on the bottom and Cantaloupe and Latte mixed on the top. I rubbed them on with Ranger Domed Foam Blending Tool as I can get a really soft look that way. Field is a dark color, so I rubbed most of it off before applying it. I attached it to a dark orange cardstock card base.
I stamped all of the elements in the Make Some Noise stamp set with Intense Black Ink on white cardstock. I stamped multiples of the leaves. I then colored them all in with Copic Markers. I used a white Uniball for details. I used a silver Uniball for the instruments. I fussy cut ALLLL these images out as I didn't have the matching dies. This is one set I wish I had as all those leaves took some time. Weirdly though I prefer fussy cutting to even coloring!
I stamped the sentiment on the top of the card front with Intense Black Ink. I also stamped some of the music notes across the top. I attached all of the critters and leaves on the card front with foam tape behind the top of the animals. I used Regency Grand Vintage Drops on the bottom and Orange Marmalade Jewel Drops around the top.
I just realized that I took the blush/white dots off the first photo as I didn't like them (thank you photoshop), but I forgot to remove them from the other two. Which do you prefer? I say jungle critters should NOT have blush haha. Also, i don't know if the guy on the left was suppose to be a squirrel or a skunk.
As you know by now, I love stamp sets with critters and this Make Some Noise stamp set by Hero Arts is no exception. You can purchase it alone or buy the Make Some Noise stamp and die bundle until supplies are out. You can see all of the STAMPtember collaboration stamp sets HERE and all of the STAMPtember product release HERE. Don't forget to check out my other two blog posts today since there are 3 collaboration sets today! Links are at the top of this post. Suzy
