Today's SSS STAMPtember collaboration stamp set is with an Alex Syberia stamp set called A New Dream. It is so pretty and so me! Flowers!!! Here is an image of it with a matching set of dies. You can buy it alone or together as a bundle.
I went back to my roots on this one! I used colored pencils again! Sometimes I just can't resist flowers with no-line stamping colored with pencils. I started by stamping the flowers on each side of an A2 white cardstock panel with Latte PSInk. It works really well for no-line coloring. The thing about pencils that makes them perfect for no outlines is you can use them for the outline without messing up. I don't even try to use Copics or watercolors without outlines! I used a mixture of pencils including polychromos and prismacolors. I like polychromos as they are more like a #2 pencil in how they go on and prismacolors are very waxy and perfect for blending at the end. I use the white prismacolor all the time to blend the edges of the petals into the colored portion.
I die-cut this piece with an A2 Thin Frame die and mounted it on a bright pink card base. I then stamped two of the sentiments in the stamp set with black ink in the open area (I planned where it would go before stamping the flowers so it fits perfectly). I then used some Orchid Metallic Nuvo Drops around the flowers. This is definitely a one layer card!
Well this was a fun one, but on the next one, I'm back to my Copics. I don't really care what I use as long as I get to color. I hope you like this Alex Syberia exclusive stamp set with matching dies. You can see all of the SSS collaboration stamp sets HERE and all of the SSS Stamptember products HERE.
