I realized there is one more embossing folder in the SSS Out of This World release that I had not yet used for a card called Garden Spires. So today I colored it so I would have them all complete! I also used the Fantasy Butterflies Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies (((again!!!))) on this card. For the sentiment, I went a couple releases back and used the "I'm Sorry" stamp and die bundle. Here are images:
And here is my card:
I started by embossing a piece of white cardstock with the Garden Spires Embossing Folder. This was my last one from the Out of This World release to color as it was the most simple and I wasn't as excited to color it! But I ended up loving the way I colored it and added a lot of detail to it. I used Copic Markers primarily, but also some colored pencils to outline the flowers and add some depth. I added lots of additional details to it with Copic dots and background shading in greens and blues like leaves and sky. I used a White Uniball Gel Pen to add some dots to the flowers after it was all colored.
I die-cut this piece with a SSS A2 Thin Frame Die and attached it to a white card base. I then stamped a sentiment from the "I'm Sorry" stamp set with black ink and cut it out with the matching die. I attached that to the bottom of the card with foam tape beneath it.
I embossed two butterflies from the Fantasy Butterfly Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies. I colored them with Copics and a fine tip black marker. I attached just the bodies and folded the leaves up. I added some sparkling clear sequins around the sentiment.
And that's a wrap on the embossing folders from the Out of This World release! I'll be back with some cards using all of the other products in the release next! Thanks for visiting and HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!! Suzy
