Simon Says Stamp Just A Note Release: School Supplies Cling Stamp

For today's card, I used the new School Supplies cling stamp from the SSS Just A Note release. I love how they have so many coordinating school card supplies in this release. My grand-daughter gave me strict instructions on what I was allowed to use on each of the cards I made so she can give them all to her teachers. Simon Says Stamp "Just A Note" Release Blog Hop Day 1

Today is the first day of a two day blog hop celebrating the Simon Says Stamp "Just A Note" Release. I have a "one stamp, five ways" post to share with you using lots of the new products. I broke a few rules of my one stamp, five ways posts though. First I used the Darcy Bouquet Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies for my post which isn't a stamp. Simon Says Stamp Exotic Vines Embossing Folder

Today I have an embossing folder card to share with you that uses one from quite a while ago called Exotic Vines. By quite a while ago, it is probably only about a year old! With monthly releases at Simon Says Stamp, it's hard to remember! Simon Says Stamp "Out of This World" Release: Soaring Layered Bird Die

I'm making my way through the SSS Out of This World release slowly, but surely! Today I used one of the new dies for my card called the Soaring Layered Bird Die. I've been excited to use this one as I love love love birds. I also used the Gingko Leaves Embossing Folder from a previous release. It's the 14th of the month which means it's time for the SSS card kit reveal! The August card kit is called Retro Wishes. I have a "one stamp, five ways" post to share with you today using the kit, but primarily focusing on the stamp set which is also called Retro Wishes and is sold alone or with a set of matching Retro Wishes dies in a bundle. Simon Says Stamp "Out of This World" Release: Layered Perky Flower Die

I finally had a chance to work with one of the new dies from the SSS Out of This World release called the Layered Perky Flower wafer die. I also used the So Sorry Stamp set. Here is an image of the die: Here is my card: I die-cut a piece of orchid glitter paper I had in my stash with the SSS A2 Thin Frame Die and attached it to a white card base. I then die-cut a white postage stamp with the largest die in the Modern Postage Dies and Stencil and attached that to the center of the background. I die-cut two of the Layered Perky Flower die. Simon Says Stamp "Out of This World" Release: Billowing Butterfly Plate Wafer Die

I finally pulled out the Billowing Butterfly Plate Wafer Die from the SSS Out of This World release. I have used butterflies from the Fantasy Butterflies Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies on almost all of my cards lately, so it was time to break out and try the other butterfly products. I also used the Rose-Winged Butterfly from the Beautiful Days release. Simon Says Stamp "Out of This World" Release: Garden Spires Embossing Folder

I realized there is one more embossing folder in the SSS Out of This World release that I had not yet used for a card called Garden Spires. So today I colored it so I would have them all complete! I also used the Fantasy Butterflies Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies (((again!!!))) on this card. For the sentiment, I went a couple releases back and used the "I'm Sorry" stamp and die bundle. Simon Says Stamp "Out of This World" Release: Dahlia Delights Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies

It's another day of me sharing a card using the SSS "Out of This World" release! And I feel like I've barely started using all of the products - there are so many to pick from when I am making a card! Today I used the Dahlia Delights Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies which I've actually been coloring for about a week here and there. So not the "quickest" card I've ever made! Alex Syberia Gorgeous Peonies and SSS "Out of This World" Here For You and Windswept Leaves

Today I made a card that uses a stamp set I recently bought by Alex Syberia called Gorgeous Peonies AND a couple of products from the SSS "Out of This World" release, the Here For You stamp and die set and the Windswept Leaves dies. Here is an image of the stamp set: And here is my card: I painted a piece of watercolor paper with some Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Catherine Wheel and Cherry Bomb to create the background for the card.
