Simon Says Stamp "Out of This World" Release Blog Hop Day 2 - Dogwood Bleeding Heart Cling Stamp

Today is the second day of the SSS Out of This World blog hop celebrating this wonderful release. I have a card to share with you using the Dogwood Bleeding Heart Cling Stamp as well as the Here For You stamp and die for the sentiment. Here are images of both of these new products:

Here is my card:

I stamped the Dogwood Bleeding Heart Cling Stamp with Latte Pawsitively Saturated Ink on white cardstock. I then colored it with Copic Markers and added lots of shading and outlines with colored pencils. I love the look of mixing Copics (as a base) with colored pencils for details. It especially works well with no-line coloring as you can outline each area with matching pencils and it hides mistakes with Copics along edges! I used pencils for the inside of the flowers. I used a white Uniball gel pen for the bottom of the bleeding hearts. 

I die-cut this piece with the SSS A2 Thin Frame Die and attached it to a fuchsia cardstock card base. 

I embossed a sentiment from the Here For You stamp set with Picked Raspberry Embossing Glaze. I die-cut it out with the matching Here For You dies. I then attached it to the bottom left side of the card with foam tape beneath it. I added some sparking clear sequins and bright pink gems around the sentiment.
