I purchased a few stamp sets when I was at the Simon Says Stamp Create event last month. Two of them are from Honeybee Stamps and are of course florals. Today I have a card to share with you using the Daisy Layers Bouquet Stamp Set. I realized just now that they have matching dies that are the same price (around) as the stamp set, so I wish I had bought them. They have all of the cute sentiment dies in the set which I love. They also have a matching stencil. Here is an image of the stamp set:
And here is my card:
I started by stamping the large daisy bouquet on a piece of A2 sized cardstock with black ink. I stamped it a little bit high on the piece thinking I could fit a sentiment at the bottom. I then colored it in with colored pencils. I used a white Uniball gel pen for details.
I die-cut this piece using a rounded corner rectangle die. I attached it to a card base made with Lawn Fawn Guava cardstock (my favorite color of all time).
I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on the bottom left "you're in my thoughts" with black ink. I then added the word "friend" at the end. I didn't line them up perfectly though! I used some Golden Sunset Nuvo Glitter Drops over the little berries and in the flower centers. I also added some drops around teh bouquet.
This was such an easy card to make. I'm now going to buy the matching dies and make some more cards with this cute Daisy Layers Bouquet stamp set. I just love the fonts in the sentiments - they are so cute! Thanks for visiting! Suzy
