A few months ago, I bought a new Clearly Besotted stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that I never got a chance to use. So now it isn't brand new anymore, but it is still very cute! it is called Blooming Lily Plushies. They may have had matching dies at one time, but I don't see any now on the SSS website. Here is an image of the cute stamp set:
Here is my card using ALL of the images in the stamp set:
I stamped ALL of the images in the stamp set which include the corner lily floral grouping and the three plushies each holding a lily. I used Intense Black Ink on white cardstock. I then colored them all in with colored pencils. I used a white uniball gel pen on the lilies for little dots. I fussy cut them all out (not sure if there were dies, but as usual I prefer to just cut them to save money).
To make the background, I die-cut an oval out of a piece of the Pastel Color Blend Cardstock using the SSS Stitched Oval Dies. I then rubbed some Carnation Pawsitively Saturated Ink in the center of a white card base. I attached the oval background over the card base. I positioned all the stamps over the oval using the floral corner over the top and added the three critters to the bottom with foam tape behind all.
I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on a speech bubble die that I had in my stash. I used white cardstock and stamped a sentiment with black ink on it. I then rubbed the same Carnation Ink over it so it stood out more over the background. I added it to the center of the oval. I used some Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Drops over the center of the flowers. I added some Vintage Chalk Stick and Party Pink drops to the background.
Clearly Besotted has so many cute stamp sets that I want. I really love the style of all the little critters and the flowers. I could spend way too much money on this brand. I still adore this Blooming Lily Plushies stamp set, so it is a good start to my growing collection! Thanks so much for visiting today! Suzy
