I made a card today using a new product from the SSS Kisses release called the Lace Heart Kaleidoscope Cling Stamp. Here is an image:
It was so popular, it is currently out of stock, but it will be back in soon! Here is my card using it:
I embossed the Lace Heart Kaleidoscope Cling Stamp with white embossing powder on Arches cold-pressed watercolor paper. It looked like it would be fun to watercolor and I like using my Karin Brushmarkers over embossed images so they stay in their place! I used my Karin markers on it in several red and pink shades. I then die-cut it out with a rectangle die and attached it to a white card base.
I also painted a scrap piece of the same watercolor paper with some of the same markers so it would match. I then die-cut the CZ Love Ya die also from the Kisses release from this piece and from white cardstock (twice). I glued one of the white words over the other complete white one. Then I glued the painted letters over that so they were more dimensional. I attached it with foam tape behind it to the top of the card. I was going to put it on the bottom, but I ripped a piece of the background with the tape I used when die-cutting it! Now I like it on the top!
I used a sentiment from the Bold Love sentiment strips also from the Kisses release. I used the Honeybee Banner dies. I attached that below the Love Ya. I then die-cut some white hearts using an older set I have called Love Day (I used just the dies). I stamped some small sentiments on it from an older set as well called Love Notes. I attached three hearts and some sparkling clear sequins around the sentiments.
This was a really fun card to make and I loved how it turned out. I think I will give it to my husband this year! I love this Lace Heart Kaleidoscope cling stamp from the Kisses release. I want to use it again and color it with pencils. Because we all know I love to color! Thanks for visiting! Suzy
