Hello friends! I can't believe it is "the season" already! Today is December 1st as I type this and it is time to get my holiday on! So to start off the holiday season, I have created quite a few Christmas tags and cards to share with you today. Today is DAY 1 of a 2 day blog hop celebrating the Simon Says Stamp DieCember release! When the Limited Edition Merry and Sweet Tag Kit was released (which is still available as of today), I shared these 17 tags ALL using the Merry and Sweet stamp set and matching dies that were part of this release. You can see my blog post with directions for all of these tags HERE.
Yesterday, I shared three more cards using the Merry and Sweet stamp set and matching dies as well as many other products in the new release on THIS BLOG POST. Here are those three cards:
And for today's blog post, I have a "one stamp, five ways" to share with you using the new Sweet Tooth Bears stamp set with matching dies which are sold as a bundle as shown here:
And here are all of my creations using this set as well as some of the dies in the release!
My first card is a slimline card using almost all of the stamps in this Sweet Tooth Bears stamp set! I started by die-cutting two of the largest rectangle in the SSS Nested Slimline Rectangle dies die-cut out of white cardstock. I die-cut one of them with two of the dies in the MFT Slimline Snow Drift dies. I used the Ranger Mini Domed Ink Foam Applicators to apply a light amount of Marine and Seafoam Pawsitively Saturated Ink to the top of the full rectangle. I then attached the two hills I cut over this rectangle with foam tape behind the front hill. I attached all this to a Lawn Fawn Raspberry cardstock slimline card base.
I stamped all of the images in the stamp set with Intense Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used a white Uniball over the white areas. I made multiples of the candy. I attached many of these images over the front of the card with foam tape behind the upper portion of each. I stamped a sentiment from the Printmaking Pines stamp set from the Holiday Sparkle release with black ink along the top of the card. I used Nuvo Drops over many elements of the card, primarily Morning Dew over all of the candies to give them shine. I used Crystal Stickles along the snow banks and drops of them in the sky as snow.
I made the background of this card with the new Gilded Ornamental Embossing Folder and Cutting Die set. You can't really tell in this photo, but the background is embossed with this embossing folder and it looks gorgeous (I put my cup over the big snowflake)! I cut it down and attached it to a red card base. I stamped two of the small sentiments on the smallest banner in the SSS Sentiment Label dies with black ink. I embossed the large "Sweet" in the Sweet Tooth Bears stamp set with Ranger Red Carnation embossing powder. I die-cut it out with the matching dies and attached these three sentiments to the bottom of the card front.
I stamped several of the images in the Sweet Tooth Bears stamp set (minus all of the bears!) with Intense black ink on white cardstock. I colored them in with Copic Markers. I used a silver Uniball Gel Pen for the details on the cup and a white Uniball gell pen for details on the images. I die-cut them out with the matching dies and attached them all to the card above the sentiments. I used 3 of the flat sequins in the new Winter Glitter Sequin Mix on the cup. I used 3 silver gems from the Honeybee Back to Basics Gem Stickers over the sequins.
I used a piece of blue glitter paper from the new Winter Glitter 6x6 paper assortment for the card base. I then die-cut a rectangle using the Mama Elephant B2B second largest rectangle die from white cardstock. I used the new SSS Arched Door Wafer Die in the center of this piece. This allowed me to decorate both the outside of the door and the inside of the door. I used a silver gem from the Honeybee Back to Basic Gem Stickers over the door knob.
I die-cut the new Flourished Merry Christmas Die from both the same blue glitter cardstock and the new Luxe Glitter Classic Assortment in silver. I glued the blue letters over the silver frame and attached that to the top of the outside of the door. I stamped a couple of the bears and large candy piece from the Sweet Tooth Bears stamp set with black ink and colored them in with Copic markers. I die-cut them out and attached them to the front of the door below the sentiment. I sat the bears on the candy..
On the inside of the door, over the blue glitter paper, I attached trees using the new Pointed Evergreen Wafer Dies die-cut out of white cardstock. I then used another one of the bears in the stamp set over the trees. I added some sequins from the new Winter Glitter Sequin Mix.
I embossed the Twirling embossing folder using white cardstock. I cut it down and attached it to a red cardstock card base. I then used the new Thin Frames Wafer Dies for the circle and rectangle on the front of the card. I colored the outside frames with Tahitian Blue Copic Marker and the inside thinner frame with a Coral Red Copic Marker. I glued them to the front of the card with the inside pieces remaining white.
I stamped a sentiment on the white rectangle using the Holiday Horizon stamp set - I had to cut the two words apart. They fit perfectly! I stamped a few more images from the Sweet Tooth Bears stamp set and colored them with colored pencils. I attached them over the circle. I used some Holly Berries Jewel Nuvo Drops around the stamped images and the sentiment.
For my 5th project, I made these three tags with more stamps from the Sweet Tooth Bears stamp set. I usually have images left over because I color all of them in the beginning which perfectly for some holiday tags!
My first tag is made with the silver cardstock in the Luxe Glitter Cardstock Classic Assortment using the CZ Nested Tag Dies. I then attached a cup, a star on the cup, and two hearts from the stamp set all colored with Copic markers. I stamped a sentiment using the Christmas Blessings stamp and die bundle and black ink. I tied a bow with red ribbon to the top of the tag.
I made this tag with the Large Tag Die and a paper from the Craft Consortium 6x6 paper pad in the Limited Edition Merry and Sweet Holiday Tag Kit. I attached another bear from the stamp set to the tag. I had a sentiment banner leftover from some tags I made last year, so I pulled that out of my stash and attached it to the bottom of the tag. I added some Metallic Liquid Mercury Nuvo Drops.
My last tag is also made with the new Luxe Glitter Cardstock Classic Assortment in silver using the same Large Tag Die. I die-cut another smaller tag from the CZ Nested Tags using white glitter paper from the new Winter Glitter 6x6 mix. I attached that over the silver tag and then used one of the colored bears over it. I stamped "just for you" from the Holiday Gift Giving stamp set. on blue cardstock and attached that to the bottom of the tag.

What a die set and you have demonstrated its versatility so well! I'm a sucker for gift tags but it's the one thing I always seem to run out of time to make this time of year. The possibilities are endless with this set and they would come together quickly. Thanks for sharing.

Really the hot cocoa cards and the joy to you. The hot chocolate cards remind me of the winter days as a child and going out sledding and then coming in for hot chocolate. Love all the ideas. Thank you.
