There were several Fall dies in the STAMPtember release that I really wanted to use. So I made a card using all four of them! Here they are:
As you can see from the names underneath them, they are the Layered Squirrel Die, the Pumpkin Set Die, the Acorn Trio Die, and the Etched Oak Leaves Die. Here is my card:
I die-cut the Layered Squirrel Die, the Pumpkin Set Die (the leaves three times), the Acorn Trio Die (twice), and the Etched Oak Leaves Die all from white cardstock. I then colored all of them with Copic Markers. I didn't add the door to the pumpkin or use the little pumpkins in the set. I used multiples of the leaves.
I used the gold/yellow paper in the Paper Rose Sunny Days Basics 6x6 paper pad. I die-cut it with the A2 Thin Frame Die and attached it to a burnt orange card base. I then started attached the colored dies to it. I used foam tape behind the center of the pumpkin and then glued the edges down. I then attached the squirrel also with foam tape behind it overlapping the pumpkin. I attached two of the leaves leaving them white. I was going to color them, but I liked the look of them white to match the sentiment banner. I attached two of them and then all of the other leaves and acorns around them.
I die-cut a sentiment from the Grateful and Thankful Sentiment Banners using the Honeybee Sentiment Banners. I attached that to the top of the card with foam tape behind it. I then used two colors of Nuvo drops around the card: Mustard Gold and Bottle Green. I also added an eye to the squirrel by using a drop of white (Chalk Stick) first and letting it dry. Then I used a drop of black (Black Board) over the white leaving little white on the top.
I love combining dies on a card. These four from the STAMPtember release all go together so well and just shout Fall. I hope you enjoyed this card today and as always, thank you so much for visiting! I love to inspire others to create cards by combining their supplies! Suzy
