If you have visited my blog since the Cozy Hugs release, you probably know that I love all of the birds in the release. I also love the birdhouses! I have a card to share with you today that uses the Scalloped Birdhouse Wafer Die and the Layered Warbler Wafer Die. Here are images:
Here is my card:
For the background of this card, I used the Leafy Greens embossing folder and die. I embossed it first on white cardstock and then I rubbed Latte and Fawn Pawsitively Saturated Inks over it with Ranger Domed blending tools. This foam applicator gives it a nice soft application of ink. I die-cut this with a rounded edge rectangle die and attached it to a white card base.
I die-cut the Scalloped Birdhouse Wafer Die and the Layered Warbler Wafer Die from white cardstock. I then colored them with Copic Markers. I kept the add-on pieces white and just used a warm grey Copic to add shading that would match the background. I used colored pencils to add shading and texture to the bird on the rosie part.
I die-cut a greeting using the Honeybee Sentiment Banner dies and the Grateful and Thankful Sentiment Labels. I attached that to the bottom of the card with foam tape under it. I attached the birdhouse above it and the bird to the front of the birdhouse. I added Chalk Stick Vintage Nuvo Drops on each of the scallops on the birdhouse.
This was a fun card to make! I can't get enough of the bird and birdhouse products in the Cozy Hugs release. This Scalloped Birdhouse Wafer Die is so cute! Thanks so much for visiting today! Suzy
