I'm so excited that the STAMPtember collaborations are starting today! I love making cards with these products - it's probably my favorite box i receive from SSS each year. I love the variety of styles from each of the collaboration companies. Today we are starting off with Honey Bee. This set is called Warm Wishes and is just darling and will make you wish for cooler temperatures! Here is an image of the stamp set which is also sold as a bundle with a set of matching dies (even for the sentiments!):
And here is my slimline card:
I started the same way I start every slimline card (maybe it's time to shake it up a bit, but the next three days will be the same, so....). I die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock using the SSS Nested Slimline Rectangle Dies. The largest one is perfect for allowing you to matte your card front on a standard size slimline card base with 1/8" margins on each side. I like my cards framed! I took this piece and colored the sky with Copic markers using the lightest color B91 on the top, the middle color B93 in the center, and the darkest color B95 on the bottom. I then stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with black ink on the top left side of the card over the Copics. I stamped the snow stamp on both sides of the greeting, moving it and connecting it each time.
I then die-cut a second slimline rectangle and I stamped the snowbank going across the bottom in two rows. I then cut off the top. For the bottom snowbank, I put the stamp on the far left. Then I used just a portion of it to finish the snowbank lining up the black lines where they join. For the upper snowbank, I used the stamp in the center and then added just a portion of the stamp to each side to complete the snow bank. I cut off the excess on the top and adhered it with foam tape behind it on my card front.
I stamped all of the items in the Warm Wishes stamp set with Intense Black Ink and did triples of the trees. I colored them all in with colored pencils and decorated the gifts with a white Uniball gel pen. I attached them all to the background using foam tape behind some of them that are in the foreground. I then used glossy accents along the snow banks and covered them with Unicorn Glitter. I also did this to the top of the trees. I used a white Uniball and then Frosted Lace Stickles over all of the snow on the top of the card. Ranger Glitter Stickles are my favorite for snow - there are a few different ones that work great (Diamond, Frosted Lace, and Stardust are my favorites).
That's it! I hope you enjoyed this collab stamp set with Honeybee Stamps called Warm Wishes stamp set or Warm Wishes stamp and die bundle. Remember that these collab sets are only available until supplies run out and they often sell out as soon as they are released. You can see all of the collab stamp sets at this link HERE.
