Today there are TWO collaboration stamp sets for STAMPtember by Simon Says Stamp. There is one by Clearly Besotted and you can see that blog post HERE and there is another one by The Greeting Farm which I'm blogging about here! They have a 4x6 stamp set called "Sweater Weather" that is just darling and really fun to color. It is sold alone or with a set of matching dies. You can see the bundle here:
And here is my card. And guess what? It's NOT a slimline this time - woot woot!
I die-cut a rectangle and then inked it using Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I used Latte and Cappuccino from and Sherbet and Cantaloupe from Trio 9. I applied the inks with SSS Brushes for a darker coverage. I attached this piece to a white card base. I wanted the background to be "Fallish" so that is why I picked these colors.
I stamped all of the images in the Sweater Weather stamp set with Intense Black Ink on white cardstock. I stamped multiples of the small leaves. I then colored them all in with colored pencils. I wanted to try black hair as I've never done it before on a stamp that is large like this before. It was fun trying to get the shadows right. I think it ended up looking more like gray hair so perhaps she is an old lady haha.
I fussy cut all the images out, but the matching dies would have been a great option! I attached them al to my card front using foam tape behind the top of the images. I then added all the leaves around the kitty, mouse, and under the pumpkin. I used two of the small hearts in the air. I wanted the sentiment on the pumpkin to be my greeting, so I didn't add another one. I used Vintage drops around the stamped images to complete my design. The colors are listed in the supply list.
This Greeting Farm stamp set called Sweater Weather can be purchased alone or with a set of matching dies as a bundle here. I hope you enjoyed these two new collaboration stamp sets tonight! Thanks so much for visiting! Suzy
