Today's STAMPtember collaboration stamp set is with Pretty Pink Posh. I was on their design team for years, so I am a big fan of their designs and was looking forward to this one! The stamp set is a 4"x6" stamp called Coffee Friends and you can buy it alone or as a bundle with a set of matching dies. Here is an image of the bundle:
And here is my card:
I will admit upfront here that this card took a bit of time to color! But when I saw this darling Coffee Friends stamp set, I couldn't resist one of my "random stamping" backgrounds. I stamped all of the cups and mug and hearts around a piece of A2 sized white cardstock using Latte Pawsitively Saturated Ink. I love making them fit like a puzzle. I'm working on a 2,000 piece puzzle right now, so to say I love puzzles is an understatement. I just wish they weren't so addicting!
I colored in all of the cups with colored pencils. The dotted cups were a little hard, but I just circled the dots first with the pencil color for that cup and then it was easy to just color around them. I tried to stick to all Fall colors since it's officially Fall now and this set lends itself to Fall/Winter. I also colored one of the little girls and cut her out (as I didn't have the matching dies).
I used the Lawn Fawn Just Double Stitching die around the outside edges of the background piece and attached it to a white card base. I die-cut a stitched rectangle from one of my older Pretty Pink Posh Storybook dies (those inside pieces of those dies are so good for sentiments!). I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on the left side of this rectangle with Lawn Fawn Doe ink. I attached the little girl to the right side of this piece. I then used foam tape beneath it so it stuck out a little on the busy background. I used Vintage Nuvo Drops in Fall colors around the card to fill in spaces between the images.
This Coffee Friends stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh is just darling and perfect for "warm and cozy" cards. You can purchase just the stamp set here or the bundle with the dies here. Almost all of the collab sets from this month are sold out which is crazy! They sell out so quickly. There are a few left at this link. You can also still see all of the STAMPtember products at this link. There are still a few more collabs coming - I believe 4 to be exact and one extra surprise! Keep visiting me daily! Suzy
Just love this card! It’s the cutest. I had to buy those stamps after seeing how you did this background evenbthough I missed out on the dies. Thank you for the inspiration. I’m trying to figure out which Nuvo colors you used before completing my order.
