Today is the Simon Says Stamp Dream Big release! I am in Hawaii on summer vacation, so I am posting this at 6:00 pm which means it is 12:00 am EST. I almost forgot as I usually post at 9:00 pm my time in California. Luckily I remembered at the last minute about the time difference, so my family is waiting for dinner. I'll make this quick haha. You can see the entire Dream Big Collection HERE. On Friday and Saturday there will be a 2 day blog hop so come back and visit on Friday the 22nd.
I have a card to share using several of the new products in the release. I used the Lemon Zest Dies, the Dibble Dot embossing folder, the Big and Bold sentiments stamp set and matching dies, and the Reverse Be You sentiment strips. Here are images of 2 of these products:
And here is my card:
I started by making the background with the new Dibble Dot Embossing Folder. I used white cardstock and rubbed Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Lemonade on the raised side of the embossing folder. That way when I embossed it by running it through my die-cut machine, the ink went into the embossed areas. I used the back side of the embossed image so the raised areas are actually down, not up. I don't know how to say this to make sense! If you ink the raised portion of your embossing folder, you will have ink on the insides of the embossed areas so they will go down, not up. I die-cut this piece with the A2 Thin Frame Die and attached it to a yellow card base.
I die-cut three of the lemons from the new Lemon Zest Die and several of the leaves and flowers. I colored all of them with Copic markers. I used the extra side piece of the lemons to add more intense color to one side. I colored the little spots on the lemon a darker color and used that color for shading on the lemons as well. I used a white Uniball gel pen to add lines on the images. I also stamped a bee from the last kit stamp set called You Shine stamp and You Shine dies. I colored that and attached it to the top of the lemons.
I attached the three lemons to the center of the card with foam tape behind the center one. Then I embossed the "thank you" from the new Big and Bold Sentiments and Dies with Sunflower embossing powder. I attached that over the bottom of the center lemon with foam tape behind. Then I attached all of the leaves and the flowers on the top of the lemons and around the sentiment at the bottom. I die-cut a second sentiment using the new Reverse Be You sentiment labels and the SSS Sentiment Label Die. I attached that to the bottom of the card. I added some Chalk Stick Vintage Nuvo Drops around the leaves.
This new release is full of so many cool new products - you can see the entire Dream Big release HERE. I have linked you to all of the products I used in this post below. I'll hopefully see you back on Friday for day one of the two day blog hop. You can see all of the inspiration created using this new release in one place in the Dream Big Gallery on the SSS Blog. Thanks so much for visiting!!! Suzy

The background of your card was beautiful. Just shows what adding a little ink can do to bring an embossing folder up a notch. Every time I see these lemons used the card is more interesting than the last one. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
