I'm out of town this week, so the blog posts have been sparse. But I am jumping on here to share one card. I used the SSS Oh Gnome stamp set that was released in the Yay You release. This is a small 3x4" stamp set that retails at just $7.99. Here is an image:
Sometimes I really enjoy using small stamp sets like this one as the card design is fairly straightforward. I just stamp the images and put them on with little effort or thinking about how to arrange them! Here is my card:
I stamped all of the images with black ink on white cardstock. I stamped the little birthday bird twice and the mushrooms and balloons three times so I could fill the front of a card. I then colored them in with Copic Markers (I know, I know, I two timed on my colored pencils). I fussy cut them all out as there are not matching dies (((yet))).
I then designed the background. I die-cut a piece of white cardstock and colored the top blue and the grass green with Copics. That gave me a little hill to arrange all of the images on. I attached this to a white card base. I used foam tape behind the top of all of the images for dimension when attaching them.
I used Glossy Accents on the balloons. I used Nuvo Glitter Drops on the cupcake and mushroom dots. I also used Glitter Drops on the hats and blowers on the birds. I then stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with Intense Black Ink on the top of the background. I used some Iceberg Blue Jewel Drops around the sky area.
This is a very simple birthday card using pretty much everything in this cute little Oh Gnome stamp set. I hope you enjoyed! Suzy
