One of my all time most favorite stamp companies is Art Impressions. I love when they release new stamp sets through Simon Says Stamp and I get to create inspiration with it. They just announced their newest stamp set called Home and Heart, a SSS Exclusive. Here is an image of the stamp and it comes with matching dies:
I wanted to use ALL of the cute images, so I created a slimline card with them.
First, I stamped all of the images on white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I stamped the flower pot 3 times and the birds twice as when I create a scene, I like to use lots of images! I colored them all in with colored pencils. I ended up outlining them all again with an 01 Micron marker as the pencils kind of ruined the outlines. I die-cut them all out with the matching dies.
I die-cut a slimline rectangle with the largest rectangle die in the SSS Slimline Nested Rectangle Dies. I then used Pawsitively Saturated Inks and my SSS Ink Brushes to color the background. I used Latte Ink on the bottom (the lightest of the 3 inks in the Trio 10 set. I used a mixture of Marine from Trio 7 and Seafoam from Trio 1 for the sky. I used more of the Marine as I wanted it more blue than aqua, but the mixture looks really good together. I attached this background piece to a white cardstock card base.
The bears have a first aid kit/table on the side of them, but I cut it off as I didn't want that to be the focus of my card. Because the dies don't leave much white around the images, it was easy to just cut off and i used a white Uniball gel pen to cover the little bit of black lines that showed. I also used a white uniball to put dots all over mrs. bunnies dress. When you die-cut the birds, the little hearts cut out separately, so I used them on the top of the card. I used foam tape beneath the top of each image and glued the bottom down to create dimension. I added some Nuvo Glitter drops to the flowers and hearts. I used some Iceberg Blue Jewel drops around the sky. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on the top center with Intense Black Ink.
