I don't know if you have seen Rachelle Anne Miller's stamp designs for MFT, but if not, you will love them. She is one of my favorite illustrators and makes the cutest stamps! She also sells digital images under her own name. You can see all of her MFT designs here. I think I have purchased almost all of her sets so it was hard to pick which one to use. Today I am using the Best Friend Furever stamp set and matching dies. Here is an image:
And here is my slimline card (because of course it has to be a slimline to fit ALL of the images on it!):
First, I stamped all of the images in the Best Friend Furever stamp set with MFT Natural Ink on white cardstock. Then I colored them all in with colored pencils. They were really fun to color! I die-cut them out with the matching Best Friend Furever dies. I made multiple flowers as I knew I would use more of those for creating a scene.
Next, I made the background. I die-cut two rectangles from white cardstock using the SSS Nested Slimline Rectangle Dies (largest one that I use for all of my slimline cards!). I then die-cut two strips of grass from one of them using the MFT Slimline Grassy Hills dies. I used SSS Brushes to apply SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink to the grass and the sky pieces. I usually use Distress Oxide Inks for backgrounds, but I have been really liking the new SSS inks as they are so bright! I used Field and Pearfection for the grass in the back and then Pearfection and Limeicious for the front grass piece. I used a mixture of Marine and Seafoam for the sky. I attached the two pieces of grass over the sky piece with foam tape behind the front grass.
I then arranged all of my images over the background. I used foam tape behind the upper part of the girls. I glued all the other pieces down around the scene. I then embossed a sentiment on the sky using Ranger Extra Fine White embossing powder. I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops to the flowers and butterflies. I used Chalk Stick drops around the sky for white spots. I used Black Board drops over all of het eyes for dimension.
That's it for today! I hope you enjoyed this slimline card using the MFT Best Friend Furever stamp set by the talented Rachelle Anne Miller! Thanks for stopping by today! Suzy
