Today I have a blog post using the Dance and Twirl stamp and die set released in the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release a few months ago. I love the sets they have been releasing with these cute girls. In STAMPtember, they released a set called Big Day and this set called Dance and Twirl. Then in the To The Moon release, they released another one called Be Lovely.  All three sets are adorable. Here is an image of the Dance and Twirl stamp and die set combo:

 

I made the background for this card using the SSS Nested Oval Dies and the Detail Tapestry Plate. I applied Distress Oxide Inks to the outer piece using Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo. I attached that over the Tapestry Plate piece and used a white card base.

 

I stamped all of the images in the stamp set with Intense Black Ink on white cardstock and colored them in with colored pencils. I like using pencils for small images like these. I stamped several of the little flower bunches and hearts. I die-cut them all out with the matching dies in the set. I then attached them over the background using the oval to frame the three girls. 

I then decorated their dresses with Nuvo Drops because that is what I do every time! I added some Chalk Stick Nuvo drops around the background as well. I stamped two of the sentiments in the stamp set with black ink on the top of the card. This was a really simple card to make and allowed me to do my favorite thing - color cute images!
