A couple weeks ago I posted a card using the Outline Ornaments Cling Stamp. I also saiid on that blog post HERE that I would have to color this stamp again. I love it and I wanted to try it out with my favorite pencils instead of Copics this time. Here is an image of the stamp:
My first card using Copics is here from my past blog post:
I went with a similar color scheme this time, but used red instead of pink. It still ended up looking similar though.
I stamped the image with MFT Natural Ink this time. I die-cut the image with the A2 Thin Frame Rectangle die. I colored it with colored pencils. Now let me be honest with you. I spent a lot of time on this image. It took time to color it in with pencils. I admit it might not have been worth the outcome. The Copic one went much quicker! I think I do best coloring smaller images with pencils.
I added details with a white Uniball and a silver Uniball. I also added a bunch of small rhinestones from a past kit I had left over. I saw them and the colors matched perfectly, so onto the ornaments they went.
I stamped a sentiment using the Holiday Sprigs stamp set with Carnation Red embossing powder. I die-cut it out with the matching dies. I attached that to the bottom of the card.
So what do you think -- should I go with one more card using watercolors with this Outline Ornaments Stamp Set? I'll end up with a "one stamp, three coloring methods" by the time I am done here haha. It's just really fun to color these big ornaments. Although I think watercolors will go much quicker! Thanks so much for visiting today! Suzy
