Today's STAMPtember collaboration stamp set is between Simon Says Stamp and Reverse Confetti. The stamp set is called Autumn Blessings and it is sold alone or it is sold as a set with dies. Here is an image:
And here is my card - it's another one layer one!
I started by stamping the floral bouquet twice on the top and twice on the bottom of a card size piece of white cardstock using MFT Natural Ink. I stamped just the flowers, not the vase. I colored them sunflowers in with colored pencils.
I embossed a sentiment from the stamp set in the center of the flowers using Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold embossing powder. I thought it matched the flowers well and I like how it gives it more of a Fall feel.
I die-cut this piece down to a smaller rectangle and attached it to a piece of Lawn Fawn gold cardstock. I used some Copper Penny Nuvo Drops around the flowers.
This was such an easy card to make and believe it or not, the flowers were quick and easy to color. I love this Autumn Blessings stamp set and I feel like there are lots of ways to use the flowers in the set as is or creatively like I did on this card. I also love the Fall feel of the sentiments in the stamp set and the font is so pretty. If you don't want to make a one layer card, you can buy the set that comes with dies. Just remember to act quickly as these sets sell out fast and are not restocked. You can see all of the SSS STAMPtember products here and all of the STAMPtember collaboration stamp sets here. Thanks for visiting today! Suzy
Just lovely! I adore the sunflower border - so perfect for this "transitional" time into autumn!
